Back-up Power Plant Project

Qatar Armed Forces have awarded Bahadir Construction with the project to supply a 64 Mega Watt Power Plant at Dukhan Air Base and a 48 Mega Watt Power Plant at North Camp – Al Shamal.

Both plants are to be designed with state of the art, high efficiency, Natural Gas Powered technology, enabling the QAF to take full advantage of the natural resources of Qatar and assist in the attainment of the Country’s self-sustainability goals.

	The project incorporates the design, supply, construction, testing, and commissioning of both back-up power plants, that will require specialized design and build components to allow for efficient, safe, continuous operation in the sometimes harsh Qatar climate.
